Method

We use 48 questions across Jung's four dichotomies: energy (E/I), information (S/N), decisions (T/F), and lifestyle (J/P). Twelve per dimension, with reverse-worded items to counter response bias.

Why a 5-point scale, not a binary?

Real people are rarely black-and-white. A binary forces you to pick a side; a 5-point scale lets you say 'somewhat agree' or 'neutral' — closer to your true degree, and more stable, trustworthy results.

How we score

Each item scores 1–5; forward items add directly, reverse items are mirrored. Per-dimension scores normalize to a percentage: exactly 50% means you flex with context, and the report shows both sides.
